2014 - Present

Architect with BARA Architects, Chennai

Responsibilities include directing and managing diverse projects, co coordinating between consultants and project development team in fields of both architecture and interiors. Job role also includes designing furniture for commercial production, developing the company’s portfolio and website. Have handled various branding projects including a start up convenience store that involved designing from a brand conscious interior to the store’s logo design, thus successfully establishing myself as a 'one stop designer'.

2011 - 2013

Architect with PNC Architects for 2 years, Dubai

The first employee and an integral member of the Company since its inception in 2011. Author of an office design manual that is used to edify new trainees and an easy - to - use document summarizing the requirements of the local building council. An indispensable part of the design team for conceptualization and development of “ Meydan – Sobha City”-  a multi billion dollars project across a site area of 8 million square feet  including 280 villas, 13 high-rises, garden apartments, shopping mall, hotels, retail complex and international schools.

Responsibilities include master plan development, imparting innovative design ideas and solutions, representing the company in various influential assemblages, formulating presentation drawings and materials,  evolving concept drawings to working drawings, liaising with technical consultants, interacting with various local legal bodies, ministering their requirements and coordinating with the team.

2011

Trained with Sobha Developers Ltd., an Indian multinational firm involved in construction and development for a period of two months.

2009

ACADEMIC LIVE PROJECT : Worked with the Adyar poonga trust for the revitalization of the central city park.

2008

Interned with DKA Architects, Bangalore for a period of 5 months 

Responsibilities included extensive AutoCAD drafting, 3d- modeling, conceptual and schematic design development and detailing, project co-ordination, site visits, development of the company portfolio and project presentations. 

2007

ACADEMIC LIVE PROJECT : Worked in collaboration with with UNESCO, ArcHe-S, (Architectural Heritage Safeguarding -  a French NGO) and Ecole de Chaillot, Paris (Postgraduate conservation school of architecture). for the conservation of heritage buildings in Chettinad, South India.
